Hello , this is Haritha. My dance school, Medasvi School of Dance is conducting it's first anniversary this year. Specifically doing Mohiniyattam which is special to Kerala. Especially during CoVid it has been difficult but we don't want to compromise on the quality and also give opportunities for my students to perform as it's the first time for most of them. We are writing to you now as we have finally entered Phase Three of the circuit breaker exit, and are able to come together in larger groups to perform. We have secured the Black Box space at the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS) for filming, as well as three reputed musicians from the Society. We believe in paying artists fairly for their contribution, especially in this uncertain time. We would like to be able to show that we value them, even though we are just starting out as a school. As of now, we require need to pay renumeration for the venue and musicians. We would be deeply grateful if you believed in what we aim to do, and any support you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
