My Story

Hello, my name is Cyrene Rhesa, a Volunteer for the H4Y Project: Raising Awareness about Cancer under AISEC TU! Cancer is the world's second biggest cause of mortality, accounting for an estimated 9.6 million deaths (or one in every six) in 2018.

Through my passion for advocating for health & well-being, I am raising funds to promote health through promoting knowledge about cancer, the necessity of early identification, and the treatment involved in cancer by refuting myths and perceptions. These funds will be used to sustain the project and help the beneficiary, the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM). NCSM ensures that no Malaysian has a fear of cancer by fostering knowledge about the disease that promotes prevention and early detection, as well as by offering the greatest care and assistance to those who are impacted by the disease.
