Please sponsor me so free medical care can be provided to Cambodian children at Angkor Hospital for Children, a non-profit children’s teaching hospital in Siem Reap.

My Story

I have worked at AHC for about 2 years. No so long compared to some staff. It didn't take me long to realise how special the hospital is. The children are treated with kindness and compassion.
Over 500 children come to AHC everyday looking for medical care. They might need to see a dentist, an outpatient pediatrician, the ophthalmologist or need urgent ICU care.  We also have social work, physio, ER/ICU, two In patient wards, Neonatal ward and breast feeding consultants. An  average of 540 patients are admitted a month.
All the medical and nursing professionals are ably supported by an incredible non medical staff including purchasing and logistics units, registration, maintenance, drivers, security staff, cleaners and finance unit. So many people work together to make sure 100s of children receive care every day and the burden and insecurity of lack of health care services are removed from their families.
