Kavitha Aruljothi is fundraising for Liberty to Learn (Fugee School)

Dear friends and family, as I turn 40 during this historic pandemic, I am raising funds for a worthy cause I support and humbly reach out to your kindness to share the gift of giving to those who are deserving and in need.

My Story

Founded in 2009 by Deborah Henry and Shikeen Halibullah, FUGEE School has provided access to education for up to 500 refugee youths from 11 different nationalities, aged 4 to 20. Today, they provide 200 students with a holistic education, equipping students with more than just academia, but life skills and hands-on experience for real world preparedness. RM150/month helps educate one child at Fugee School.
COVID-19 has created a compounded effect that has exhausted their reserves. Your contribution will:
  • Give refugees access to education by helping Fugee School stay open
  • Provide the means to online learning
  • Provide monthly education fees for 200 students
