Solo

As part of MYGiving week, 3-8 December, I am participating in this BATTLE to raise funds for the FEARLESS BLEEDING HEART 1000 Children's Health Fund. This Fund brings together a partnership of doctors, hospitals, insurers and funders to help critically ill children in Malaysia (irrespective of citizen status) get access to the life-saving treatments that they need. As part of this fundraising challenge, I have left it to my teams to decide on my "dares" (read on below!).

My Story

“FEARLESS BLEEDING HEART 1000” Children’s Health Fund seeks to provide access to care and essentials for critically ill children, with no insurance and no access to free healthcare. The fund will cover all children in Malaysia (irrespective of citizen status) diagnose with critical illness from birth till age 3 years old (or within the first 100 days of life). These are also children who require immediate treatment and frequent intensive care admission.

“FBH1000 Day” is a project under Yayasan Chow Kit. It will function as a secretariat to connect sponsors with patients.

What to do for DARES? I decided to let my teams embarrass me on this. Here's a few things they shouted out at our townhall last week, which I will have to fulfill at our office Christmas party on 6 Dec.

RM1000 - Do the spicy noodle challenge at the Christmas party

RM2000 - Do 3 shots of Jager bombs (for courage)

RM3000 - Wear a long curly wig...

RM4000 - Put on a Hula skirt at the Christmas party

RM6000 - Show dance with Martin (my CEO)!

RM8000 - Do all of the above!
