We are a group of students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) to have a fundraising for  NASOM-The National Autism Society of Malaysia. NASOM is a non-profit, tax-exempt, non-governmental organisation conceived in 1986 by a group of parents and professionals. It is to offer lifespan services to people with autism through various services and programmes. NASOM is a national voluntary organisation with a mission to promote autism awareness, provide treatment, education, care and protection for PWAs, and support for their families. 

What is Autism? 
Autism or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a lifelong developmental disability that causes barriers to communication and understanding. As the name suggests, autism represents a spectrum of disorders, and is often characteristic by challenges with social skills, communication issues, relationships, and self-control. People with autism can vary from severely challenged to high-functioning. The way in which people with autism learn and think presents unique challenges for education, with their own particular strengths and weaknesses.

The purpose for us to have this fundraising is to promote autism awareness and help out more the autism families. 100% of the funds will directly go towards our beneficiary.
