A small contribution for a better future for the refugee minorities in Malaysia.
My Story
DID YOU KNOW?
In 2023, over 180,000 asylum seekers sought support and safety from the UNHCR in Malaysia where over 49,000 were children under 18.
Since refugees lack a legal status to access public services, this leaves them with alternatives such as, community schools and NGO schools supported by volunteers and donations from the public. However, there are still many obstacles for refugee children to attend these schools due to location, resources, manpower and capacity.
Fugee School is one such NGO which focuses on providing holistic education to the refugee youth and one of the few which provides secondary school education in Malaysia.
Through this project, we are collaborating with Fugee School with the mission of ensuring that these minority has access to quality education to widen their opportunities for a better future and further educate the public on the needs and problems faced by refugee children.
Your contribution can be the lifeline that refugee children need, offering them a chance to escape the cycle of poverty and despair. Together, we can make a lasting impact on their lives.
