Listen Through Your Heart is participating in Heriot-Watt University Malaysia EmPOWER 2023
and are fundraising for Malaysian Federation of the Deaf

Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear, the blind can see. Our team aim to spread the kindness to the deaf and promote awareness among the society.

My Story

Being deaf was viewed as a culture disconnected from the rest of mainstream society. "Listen through your heart, anything but silence" is our slogan as a motivation to help the Malaysia Federation of Deaf (MFD). Due to the government subsidies cut, MFD is unable to organize programs and upgrade its facilities. Together with 11 of us from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM), we shall spread awareness and reduce discrimination against the deafness just because they are different from others for a better and more equal society.
