My Story
Pastor Richard C. Famador has been faithfully serving the Lord for more than 30 years. At an early age, God led him to start a mission work in the island-province of Bohol, Philippines with his wife, Joy, and it was there that they were blessed with their son, James, and daughter, Phoebe. As Pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Totolan, Dauis, Bohol, Pastor Richard and his family has dedicated their lives for the ministry and through the years, God has shown His grace and faithfulness and has seen thousands of lives changed.
Last November 12, 2017, Pastor Richard approached the pulpit to deliver his sermon looking pale and diaphoretic. Just a few minutes into the message, he suddenly decided to close it with a prayer and went on to the nearest pew. To cut the long story short, we rushed him to the emergency room. He had his 2nd heart attack.
While admitted at the hospital, the cardiologist advised him to undergo an angiogram and a subsequent angioplasty. This did not happen due to LACK OF FUNDS. Last Sunday, the church has decided that a leap of faith is needed to improve and in a way, save the life of Pastor Richard Famador. We will send him to the Philippine Heart Center as soon as possible and this will entail costs despite our efforts to apply for charity.
I therefore ask all of those who are reading this to do three things.
1. Pray for Pastor Richard Famador that God will sustain him as we await the procedure;
2. Share this fundraiser to your family and friends;
3. Help us with the financial needs that this procedure entails.
You can help save the life a humble man of God! We know that raising $30,000 to fund for the surgery, treatment, and medicines of Pastor is a huge challenge but nothing is impossible! God will provide our needs and GOD CAN USE YOU to be a blessing!
