We're providing dental care to 25 children of Gawad Kalinga Pasig Community Children in the Philippines. Join us in raising support for the mission!
My Story
Giving is Social (www.givingissocial.com) is organizing a dental mission for 25 kids of Gawad Kalinga (GK) Pasig Community Children. Gawad Kalinga, which means "to give care", is a non-profit group in the Philippines that aims to end poverty for 5 million families by first restoring the dignity of the poor.
"The Giving Smiles" aims to impart knowledge on dental hygiene through fun and engaging activities to the children who are from ages 6-12 years old. Volunteers will be partnering with the kids during game time and will be assisting the children during their dental check-ups and treatment.
Funds raised will go towards the purchase of dental care products to be used during the event and to be distributed to the children's family.
