My Story

SOMETHING FROM STATISTICS: 

According to the reputable highly ranked website - Borgen Project more than 70,000 children in Malaysia live in poor conditions with no access to public school with those living in rural areas being worse off. Child poverty in Malaysia has sorrowful effects... some of the consequences from many others are: extreme malnutrition, higher instances of child labor or trafficking, sexual exploitation in rural areas...

Nurturers of Happiness is team of 9 empowered students from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia who are passionate about making a difference in the world and become better version of themselves by helping others. Our main aim is to Boost Happiness to children that are suffering from material and social deterioration. 

Objective of the project could be quoted from the Yayasan Chow Kit non-profit organization in Malayisa that we would like to donate raised funds: "Provide a safe space and expose the children to as many positive opportunities to allow each child to reach their full potential."
