COVID-19 has created a global education crisis and students in Malaysia are no exception to that. This pandemic has obviously stunted the growth of Malaysian youths and disrupts their education as well as their childhood. Now that we are in the new normal and have shifted to the digital technology era, the underprivileged school students in Malaysia are struggling with their education and trying hard to navigate where they go next.

The Kalsom Movement, an independent and voluntary student-led charity movement strives for equality in education in Malaysia. For the past 27 years, The Kalsom Movement has successfully organized annual motivational camps throughout the country, reaching more than 4000 youth. Our initiatives' ultimate aim is to motivate and inspire students from underprivileged families residing in impoverished regions. This year,  we will be utilising online platforms to support secondary school students in Penang, Kedah, Pahang, Selangor, and Terengganu. 

In this Holy Month of Ramadan, we are hoping to raise at least RM 2,500 in order for us to accelerate our beneficial plans for them. All donations and contributions from you will be utilised for our tailored programmes and initiatives throughout the year solely for the school students according to the students’ needs as well as achieving The Kalsom Movement’s mission.
