McLean Family are fundraising for Ray of Hope

I'm making a difference by raising money for a cause close to my heart. Please support me by donating.

My Story

We have been so lucky to have our own space and plenty of comfort during this lockdown. Our thoughts are with the foreign workers who do not have such luxury.

We, therefore, decided to try and raise some money to make their lives more comfortable. Our aim is to cycle 2,000 km as a family by circling Sentosa several times each day during the lockdown. Jessica, aged 3, has just learnt to cycle without stabilisers and she has been cycling up and down the road behind our home, clocking up the kilometres too. 

The proceeds of this fundraiser will be received by Ray of Hope to be paid out to create and manage programmes for our migrant friends in Singapore affected by the Circuit breaker measures. The funds will therefore: a) meet their immediate needs such as food, sanitary products, daily essential items or accommodation, as overseen by the Immediate Needs team; and b) promote mental and physical well-being.

We have achieve 1,700 km so far and are now in the final week before school starts again so the pressure is on to achieve the 2,000 km. Can we do it? We are giving it our best shot and putting in a huge effort. We think we can.
