In Memory of Willie

To honor Willie, our dear friend and teammate, we are requesting your support.

Willie has been a part of the Bangkok 10s family from the very beginning, in 2006, almost 17 years ago. Over these years, he has helped us to organize and promote this event as well as taken part as a player across the mens, vets and ancients sections. He also commentated at the event.

The Nak Suu Rugby Academy is the charity that is supported by the Bangkok 10s. From the onset, Willie was a big supporter of Nak Suu which serves underprivileged and at risk children from a mixture of slum communities and orphanages in Bangkok. He fully believed in the mission of the organization which is to use rugby as a way to build relationships and provide a stable place for kids from unstable backgrounds.

Through Willie’s unrelenting support and the Bangkok 10s, Nak Suu has been able to raise enough funds each year to help continue the program throughout the last decade. Knowing Willie’s heart for Nak Suu and the kids that we help, we would like to give you the opportunity to give back in his name.

The funds raised will be sent directly to the ARK International Foundation which oversees the Nak Suu Rugby Academy charity. We know Willie’s legacy will continue to live on in both the Bangkok 10s and the Nak Suu Rugby Academy for years to come. Join us in celebrating Willie’s life through a donation.
