The Purple Center Foundation is an educational organization helping over 1,000 highly vulnerable children surviving in the Smokey Mountain garbage reclamation area, the Iris dumpsite in Baguio City and the remote government relocation areas for the urban poor. Our flagship program is education because we believe that education is the key to get out of poverty. The children and their families receive intensive and comprehensive education, health, and social support. We support children by helping them with the costs of uniforms, school supplies, meals, Saturday tutorials and health checks. Without this support many of these children would drop out of the education system to take up scavenging on the dumpsites to help feed their families. Their future would be bleak.

YOUR DONATION GOES TOWARD:

· School uniforms, gym kit, school bag, school books and stationery, breakfast and lunch, transportation

· Coaching and tutorial programs. art education, sports program

· An alternative learning program for off-track youth to regain their sense of worth

· Health and medical support

· Welfare support with our team of social workers

DONATE OPTIONS:

· $10 monthly – Provides 20 meals

· $20 monthly – Provides transportation and supports coaching and tutorial programs

· $30 monthly – Provides health and medical support

· $50 monthly – Provides welfare support, Supports Arts and Sports Programs, and ALS Program

· $300 annually – Provides all the benefits to the child and supports teachers’ salaries

· Any amount – Supports the operational and miscellaneous expenses
