What is Relay For Life (RFL)?
The National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM)
will host our 14th Relay For Life (RFL) Malaysia from 4.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. on Saturday, 9th September 2023 at Kuala Lumpur (exact venue to be announced).
Relay for Life Malaysia is the signature fundraising event for The National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM). It is an event that brings communities together to celebrate the lives of cancer survivors, remember those who have passed on, and raise funds to help NCSM in the fight against cancer. RFL honours and celebrates cancer survivors
in the “Survivors Lap” and “Luminaria”.
This year, at Relay For Life Malaysia which runs from 4.00 p.m. until midnight, 12.00 a.m., individuals, survivors and people from all walks of life will come together to take turns to walk the track continuously. The track is never ‘left alone’, a symbol that cancer never sleeps. With the theme 'United We Stand', it represents our fight and hope for a world without cancer.
Games, performances & fundraising events will take place during Relay to raise funds in support of our cancer awareness cause.
As of now, RFL Malaysia has successfully secured the support of nearly 50,000 participants including survivors since its launch. This exciting event has established long-term partnerships with corporations, schools, universities, non-governmental organisations, healthcare providers and government authorities who have been instrumental in making the event a success and promoting cancer awareness.
NCSM appreciates your unwavering support over the years as without your help, we are unable to meet the needs of cancer patients and survivors across Malaysia. With cancer statistics rapidly rising in Malaysia, it is essential that we continue to provide support to those affected by cancer.

Remember. Remember loved ones lost to the disease. At Relay, people who have walked alongside those battling cancer can commiserate and find healing.
