About Event

Peak to Fong is Hong Kong Dog Rescue’s major fundraising event of the year. The objective of this event is to provide a fun day for dog-loving individuals and families, including their 4-legged friends, combining healthy exercise and lots of entertainment to raise much-needed funds to take care of our many rescued dogs still waiting for homes.

Peak to Fong

We welcome people of all ages to join this stupendous event where participants can bring along their own dogs for the walk down from the Peak, or just join in the party fun at Lan Kwai Fong!

The programme for the day starts with the 'Big Walk' down from The Peak, and continues with fun and games at Lan Kwai Fong, including a variety of live entertainment, merchandise stalls, food and drink.

Peak to Fong is supported with a full PR plan that includes online and social media in both Chinese & English. Previous Peak to Fong events had extensive media exposure, with coverage in many newspapers including South China Morning Post, Apple Daily etc.

Walt Disney (Asia Pacific) Ltd will be the Title Sponsor for Peak to Fong for the 5th year running, and once again they will be providing the unique collectable T-shirts to help celebrate HKDR's major fundraising event of the year.

HKDR organises the annual Peak to Fong fundraising event to take place during the month of November each year, and attracts as many as 2000 participants and their dogs. This spectacular and fun event provides a major source of income for a charity that relies solely on donations and such fundraising events to be able to operate.  100% of all money raised will go towards funding vital basic costs including veterinary care, purchasing of dog food, beds and kennel supplies, as well as the upkeep of our two Homing Centres at Tai Po and Ap Lei Chau
