About Event

From February 7th - 18th, Oasis International School students have the opportunity to participate in an event called Run for a Cause. 

For this event, students will compete as a grade level against OIS staff and other secondary students to see which grade can walk/run the most kilometers and raise the most donations for a world cause they are passionate about.

The funds raised will go towards sponsoring projects that students are developing for EAGLE Week or to an organisation of their choice related to their cause. EAGLE Week is a time when students will be serving the community, country, and world to learn about and experience serving those around them who are in need.

The world issues that we are developing projects for are:

  • 6th grade: Quality Education

  • 7th grade: Zero Hunger

  • 8th grade: Life Below Water

  • 9th grade: Zero Hunger

  • 10th grade: Life Below Water

  • 11th grade: Qualty Education

  • 12 grade: Quality Education
