Hike For Hong Kong is a social responsibility initiative of the the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong's Listing Committee (Listing Committee) and is open to the members of the Listing Committee, their colleagues, friends and family, members and staff of the Securities and Futures Commission (Corporate Finance), the staff of the Listing Department and other staff of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKEX), their friends and families and other invitees of HKEX.

Hike for Hong Kong aims to raise funds for HandsOn Hong Kong, a local community focused charity. Money raised from this event will specifically benefit Soup for the Soul, one of HandsOn Hong Kong’s programs addressing pressing social needs in Hong Kong. Approximately one third of seniors in Hong Kong fall below the government’s poverty line. This initiative will deliver freshly made traditional soup to elderly citizens who are immobile or living alone, and provide them with much needed nourishment and care.

This year, Hike For Hong Kong will take place on Saturday 22 October in Sai Kung Country Park along a beautiful 7.6km trail from Sai Kung Country Park Pak Tam Chung gate. Transport will be available from Central to Sai Kung Country Park. Participants will be provided with a Hike For Hong Kong t-shirt prior to the event and refreshments on the day. Return transport and lunch will also be provided.

As this event is a fundraising event, we ask that you raise funds by collecting sponsorship from your families and friends. Join us for a fun and healthy day out, while at the same time helping to improve the lives of needy members of our community.
