About Event

CBRE Asia Pacific is running a Christmas donation drive with our staff in December to help spread some joy to the children looked after by Yayasan Chow Kit. Let's give generously!

Yayasan Chow Kit caters to the needs of children and teenagers in and around Chow Kit, and run two drop-in centres within Chow Kit and one safe home for children who are in need of temporary guardianship.

YCK's experience of working at the grassroots level has led to the discovery of an array of multi-faceted socio-cultural issues affecting such diverse groups of people living in Chow Kit. Realising that in order to provide a better facilitation of issues the community is facing, it paved the way for an establishment of an organisation that is based within the area in addition to having a structured and sustainable development of community-based programmes. The foundation’s vision ‘to improve the lives of at-risk children and youth’ has aptly summed up it's aspirations for the community they serve in Chow Kit. Every Child Matters!
