A story of Ours is a performing arts event that will feature the meaningful play, “Us and Them” by David Campton with original content by Fr Stanley Goh, SJ. The event will also showcase different performances such as dances and songs and musical interpretations which bring to life the different stories we each have to tell and how these stories bind us.

The audience can look forward to a bolder restaging of Us and Them featuring the award winning SJPSS Chamber Choir along with other much anticipated performances from the three schools, St Joseph’s Private Primary School (SJPPS), St Joseph’s Private Secondary School (SJPSS) and St Joseph's Private International School (SJIS).

“A Story of Ours” marks our 8th production after The Tempest, Us and Them, Rhythm and Colour 1, Rhythm & Colour 2: Family and Friends, The White Rajah of Sarawak, and The White Rajah of Sarawak 1.5. While we had to take a hiatus because of the pandemic, we returned with the hugely successful Rhythm and Colour: The Family Celebrates in 2022 which was staged on the grounds of SJPSS. The Story of Ours is an ambitious and colourful return to the big stage with more profound performances and a departure from previous themes as we make a foray into more intriguing and erudite aspects of the performing arts.
