Clean Water? Who cares? People die from drinking contaminated water
My Story
So sometime last month, I got approached by a soon-to-be-teammates that will be joining The Picha Project and she told me about this thing that she's going for in Cambodia. I'm like, why not?!
Growing up in a city, we all never thought that water is that important. We all never do. Because we are so blessed with water everywhere. You can just find water at home, at work, at the mamak stall, in the 7-Eleven. Who would ever thought that water can bring so much difference in a person lives?
I guess it's just awareness at the end of the day.
USD 100 will give a family of 5 clean water for 15 years.
My goal of USD 10000 will then be able to reach 1000 people/families including mothers and children who currently only have access to contaminated water. Well, it seems impossible, and honestly, I don't think I have the capability to do it. But oh well, GO BIG OR GO HOME. :P (We will see..). Someone taught us that, just add another zero in all your numbers, everything that you do. (Just kidding)
All donations go directly to the water filters and volunteers like myself, fund our own trip to help with the installation
