I'm making a difference by raising money for a cause close to my heart. Please support me by donating.

My Story

CCA (Chinese Canadian Association of Hong Kong) founded in 1987 is to provide a focal point for all Canadians in Hong Kong to socialize, and share their Canadian heritage & culture experience.  The "CCA Badminton" team is competing in the Inaugural edition of Sideways Driving Club 24hr endurance race, all in aid of HandsOn Hong Kong. With a little help we hope to be able to raise much needed funds for their projects such as;

  • Educational programs for disadvantaged youth
  • Home visit & meal delivery to isolated elderly
  • Skills workshops for abused domestic workers
  • Packing & distribution of necessities for the homeless
  • Recreational activities for children with disabilities

Thank you for taking the time to visit the CCA Badminton team - Simulation Car Racing page. We are a group that raise funds for a good cause or simply bring people in the community closer together, and we encourage collaboration through variety of activities and sports.

Simulation racing, obviously is new to us, we aren’t just doing this for fun ..Or to win, we hope to raise more money to the local in need. Please make your greatest personal donation to the cause, your support and donation will make a big difference to those in need!

We only recently found out about the sideways 24hr race where 15 teams will be pitted against each other to endure a grueling 24hr race all in the name of the HandsOn HK charity. All the teams and drivers are looking forward to this very special event, and as much as we enjoy the competition of the race, the main reason we are taking part in the event is to try and raise some money for the HandsOn Hong Kong charity, and we would be delighted for any donations that you are willing to make.

We will be tested and pushed, stretching our skill level and fighting fatigue with bouts of stamina draining concentration. Switching drivers during pit stops whilst our graphical pit team replace the tyres and refill the tank, this is our only option to efficiently undertake the entire 24 hours without an impact on race progress.

Additionally, you will be able to catch all the race action with live commentary on the Sideways Driving Club facebook page or via their YouTube channel. Comments, shout outs, and words of encouragement are always welcome via the Sideways facebook live video comments section to say hello and support all the teams over the course of the race.
