My Story

As has become a tradition over the last few years, I am continuing to celebrate a present-free birthday and this year I have chosen to fundraise for 'Hospis Malaysia'. It would mean a lot to me if you could donate to this very worthy cause - there is no such thing as too small a contribution, as every donation can help to make a difference. The work of those who provide care to people with life-threatening illnesses and in the final stages of their life is difficult, often thankless and noble, and this year I will be fundraising to help Hospis Malaysia continue to provide a service that makes such a great difference to many families.  
 
HOSPIS MALAYSIA is a charitable organization providing professional palliative care to people with life-threatening illnesses e.g. cancer and organ failure. Their aim is to provide the highest quality of patient services so as to provide relief from, and prevent pain and suffering associated with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Their patient services are offered at no charge, at the comfort of the patients’ homes. HOSPIS MALAYSIA is also committed to increasing better access to quality palliative care for all Malaysians in need by continuously partnering with major international palliative care developments, universities and clinical partners, as well as working closely with the Ministry of Health Malaysia.As a charitable organisation, HOSPIS MALAYSIA relies on funding and donations from organisations and generous individuals to continue their services to preserve the quality of life for every patient with a life-threatening illness.
