The phrase 'Merry Christmas' is so common that we often don’t stop to think about what it means. You don’t have to wear a white beard or ride a sleigh to be a Santa to a child.
My Story
Christmas is a time of cheer, celebration and happiness, but what if some children are left behind? We know that not every childhood is a happy one, but at Singapore Children’s Society, we believe that every child deserves an equal chance: a chance for education, a chance to pursue dreams, a chance to strive towards their ambitions and aspirations.
There is no better gift than the gift of giving. This holiday season, as you get together with your loved ones to celebrate in full spirit, exchange gifts and light up your Christmas tree at home, remember that you have the power to bring new hope and happiness to a child in need.
Make your Christmas more meaningful this year and give them a Christmas that they’ll never forget because every child deserves a Merry Christmas!
