About Appeal

I am fundraising for Julita, a blind person I have known since 2016.

Julita is a 46-year old Sabahan who has worked as a freelance masseur for many years. With no life savings, health or medical insurance, or retirement savings, she lives on a day-to-day cash basis pay.

I hope to raise MYR5,000 (USD1300) to kickstart a retirement plan for her. The initial funding would be used to invest in a plan; I've talked to her about this idea, and she's excited and agreed to commit some money monthly to continue the investment.

As a 100% visually impaired woman who works a physical job with no health insurance, she is severely at risk of living on the streets if, one day, she were to stop working, or if her husband and her went separate ways.
