Over the last 5 years, our 24/7 Wildlife Rescue Team has been on the roads of Singapore for up to 16 hours a day rescuing wild animals in distress. During this time, ACRES has rescued over 8,000 wild animals; giving them a second chance at life, and educating the public on how to live in harmony with wild animals.
We don’t discriminate; from critically endangered pangolins to cheeky macaques, to birds, snakes and lizards – we believe all wild animals deserve our compassion and respect and the chance of life.
It’s thanks to your support that we have helped so many animals. But this comes with consequences.
Over the last 5 years, our Wildlife Rescue van has clocked close to 600,000 km; nearly three times more than a vehicle typically has after 10 years.
It has finally reached breaking point. But our van is the bloodline of our Wildlife Rescue service – so what now?
While our Rescue Van has reached breaking point, we have not. We will continue doing what it takes to help wild animals in trouble – but we can’t do it without you.
We have to raise $90,000 to replace our van.
