Dear Friends and Supporters,
We write to you today with a heartfelt appeal on behalf of Mr.
Neduianselevan, a loving father, devoted husband, and cherished member
of our community. Mr. Neduianselevan's life took an unexpected turn when
he experienced a stroke during a vacation in India earlier this year.
The devastating news left his family shattered and in urgent need of
support.
At the SPE Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to
assisting those in need, we are determined to help Mr. Neduianselevan
and his family during this challenging time. We believe that every
person deserves a chance at recovery, and together, we can make a
difference in their lives.
Mr. Neduianselevan's stroke left him with left-sided body weakness,
requiring immediate medical attention. He was admitted to a local
hospital in India, where he was intubated and placed on ventilator
support. His condition deteriorated further, leading to complications
such as pulmonary edema, acute kidney injury, and ischaemic hepatitis.
The situation is dire, and Mr. Neduianselevan's family is confronted
with numerous obstacles. To compound matters, they did not have travel
insurance, leaving them responsible for the mounting medical expenses.
As they navigate this emotional and financial burden, they have reached
out to us for assistance.
Our mission is clear: to bring Mr. Neduianselevan back to Malaysia,
where he can receive the specialized care and support needed for his
recovery. We have been tirelessly working to organize a fundraising
campaign to cover the costs associated with his medical treatment,
repatriation, and the necessary care he requires upon his return.
We humbly ask for your generous contributions to help us achieve our
goal. Your donation will directly impact Mr. Neduianselevan's chances of
recovery and provide much-needed relief to his family. Together, we can
give him the hope and strength he needs to overcome this difficult
journey.
We have set a fundraising target of RM500,000, which will cover the
medical expenses, repatriation costs, and the expenses associated with
the campaign itself. Approximately RM450,000 will be allocated to Mr.
Neduianselevan's transportation back to Malaysia using AFly. We would
like to shed light on the significance of AFly, the renowned aviation
medicine specialist in Malaysia. While the cost associated with their
services may seem substantial, it
is crucial to understand the valuable role they play in ensuring Mr.
Nedu's safe transfer and comprehensive healthcare management.
AFly, as a one-stop health center catering to aircrew, cabin crew, air
traffic controllers, and pilots, possesses unparalleled expertise in
aviation medicine.
Dr. Amei Rashid, a medical escort specialist from AFly, will accompany
Mr. Neduianselevan on his journey from India to Kuala Lumpur.
The cost associated with AFly's services is reflective of the high level
of specialized care they provide, tailored to the unique challenges and
medical needs of patients like Mr. Neduianselevan. While the financial
burden may seem significant, it is an investment in his well-being and
the best possible chance for his successful repatriation and recovery.
The remaining RM50,000 will cover essential medical expenses, including outstanding hospital bills and other costs.
Your support will not only make a tangible difference in Mr.
Neduianselevan's life but also serve as a powerful testament to the
strength of our community. Every donation, regardless of size, brings us
one step closer to reuniting Mr. Neduianselevan with his loved ones and
providing him with the care he desperately needs. Every share, every
dollar, and every act of kindness counts.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all those who open their hearts
and join us in this noble cause. Together, we can make a profound impact
and be the catalyst for Mr. Neduianselevan's healing and return to his
family.
Thank you for your unwavering support and compassion.
Warm regards,
Yusnidar Jayus, Director, SPE Foundation
