Hearts for Autism is one of the flagship brands of SPE Foundation,
dedicated to advocating for early intervention programs for children
with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our primary goal is to establish an
ASD Centre, providing comprehensive support and specialized services to
children from disadvantaged families who are trapped in urban poverty
in the Klang Valley area.
ASD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication, social
interaction, and behavior. Early intervention plays a crucial role in
supporting the development and well-being of children with ASD. However,
many families from underprivileged backgrounds face significant
barriers in accessing appropriate resources and interventions for their
children.
Our vision is to break down these barriers and create a pathway to a
brighter future for these children. By establishing an ASD Centre, we
aim to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where children with
ASD can receive early intervention services tailored to their unique
needs. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we will offer educational
support, therapy sessions, social skills development, and family
empowerment programs.
