“Fearless Bleeding Heart 1000” Children’s Health Fund seeks to provide access to care and essentials for critically ill children, with no insurance and on the waiting times, who present for care.

“FBH1000 Day” is a project under Yayasan Chow Kit. It will function as a secretariat to connect sponsors with patients. There will be tax exemption for donors.

Why Do We Need FBH1000?

In low-resource settings, childhood mortality secondary to delays in triage and treatment remains high.

This fund seeks to provide access to care and essentials for critically ill children, with no insurance and on the waiting times, who present for care to primary healthcare clinics. These are also children who require immediate treatment and frequent intensive care admission.

Children in Malaysia (irrespective of citizenship status) diagnosed with a critical illness from birth till age 3 years old (or within the first 1,000 days of life).
