Welcome to our fundraising page dedicated to supporting Sri Prai and Junior's mahout at Kindred Spirit Elephant Sanctuary. Sri Prai's mahout, whose name is Daychee, has encountered a challenging setback. While in the forest, he unfortunately suffered a dislocated hip due to an accident. As a result, Daychee is unable to continue his vital role in caring for Sri Prai and her calf Junior. Now, we are rallying together to support him during this difficult time.
The Challenge:
Following the accident, Daychee faces a long road to recovery. The dislocated hip requires extensive medical treatment, including surgeries, rehabilitation, and ongoing care. As he focuses on his recovery, Daychee is unable to fulfill his duties at the sanctuary, leaving a significant gap in the care provided to Sri Prai, Junior and the other elephants.
