Personal Challenge

If you can't feed 100 people, then just feed 1.

My Story

In the spirit of giving and philanthropy as part of our SG50 celebration, we hope that you can share your blessings with the disadvantaged in our community who are struggling to provide food for their loved ones. Our S$250 Monthly Food Parcel for a Family of Four includes: - Rice, Rice Vermicelli, Instant Noodles; Cornflakes, Instant Oatmeal, Instant Milk Powder, Milo; Cream Crackers, Wholemeal Bread, Canned Sardines; Baked Beans, Spiced Chicken Cubes; US Russet Potatoes, Silken Tofu, Eggs; Whole Mushrooms, Carrots, Sweet Corn, Beansprouts, Xiao Bai Chye; Bananas, Pears, Oranges; Vegetable Oil, Salt, Kaya etc.

Our target for 2015 is to raise S$480,000 to feed up to 80 needy families.

Every little contribution counts. FoodAid Meals with Love provides monthly rations of nutritious food to the disadvantaged in our society, particularly those from skipped-generation families (grandparent-headed households), working poor and single-parent families. Over 40 families and more than 100 children have benefited from this programme so far.

What sets us apart from other food aid programmes is that our beneficiaries are given nutritious food mix recommended by hospital dieticians to ensure their nutritional needs are met. We hope that you can support these families, especially the children who need proper mental and physical development through putting food on their tables. In addition, our volunteers go the extra mile by forging bonds with the families and providing them with supplementary support such as tutoring and household chores.

On behalf of our beneficiaries, thank you for your generosity.
