Susan is only 46 years old and has been diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 2. The course of treatment Susan requires is surgery combined with additional therapies to have the best chance of fighting the cancer.
With quick and effective treatment, Susan can combat this disease and continue to live a normal life.
Having been in Singapore for 17 years Susan has dedicated herself to working with families to help raise their children, and take care of day to day family life. Sadly Susan was only with our family 6 months before her diagnosis. We have 2 babies under the age of 2 and both work, so we very much appreciated Susan's helping hands in the time she was with us.
Previously, Susan has worked with 3 other families whilst in Singapore, taking care of household responsibilities and the upbringing of their babies and children.
Although Susan's treatment will be partly subsidised by the government in the Philippines, there will be an ongoing need for treatment including radiotherapy and chemotherapy. We hope that we can call on the kindness of others to help raise the money that Susan currently needs.
