My Story

We need to raise a total of $4,500 by 31 March to move to a bigger premises and become a full-fledged cattery. And we need your help. This is a huge challenge for us, but it is to realise a big dream we have been running with for a while now. It is about getting a space that is bigger for Love Kuching Project. To read about this fundraising campaign, go to http://bit.ly/1z9HJ1n ] An opportunity has come up for us to achieve this with rental prices far below what we initially thought, which was really an -impossible- fundraising target to meet in order to move to somewhere bigger. We have found rental opportunities at $1,500 per month, which is not much more than the $490 we pay per month for our current foster space. Considering how our market research yielded offers of $3,500 and above, $1,500 is really a steal. However, this opportunity is time-sensitive. We must be able to produce the funds for 2 months' worth of deposit and the 1st month's rental by end of March when we sign the lease. This is because we will be sharing the space with one of our merchandise partners Alfie de Meow whose current studio lease expires in April, and we need lead time to do renovation as well.
