Let's be heroes for children together!

Hi, everyone! I’m Anne Curtis, UNICEF Philippines’ Celebrity Advocate for Children. I’ve organized the Heroes for Children Run 2016 in partnership with RunRio to benefit UNICEF's First 1,000 Days program, which supports good health and proper nutrition for the most disadvantaged children. If you can't join the run, I'm inviting you to help me raise Php 170,000 for UNICEF's 70th global anniversary. To make things extra special this year, I'll also be sending a personal token of thanks to 10 people who donate!

If you give the equivalent of the race registration fees, here's how your donation will help:

• P300 can help provide micronutrient supplements so 3 children can get much-needed vitamins and minerals  
  
• P700 can help provide life-saving therapeutic food to 2 severely malnourished children
  
• P800 can help provide 11 pregnant women in remote areas with prenatal and neonatal care services
  
• P1,100 can help make early learning fun for 18 young children by providing art materials and educational toys
