We are organizing a fundraising event for St. Nicholas' Home Penang, which is a non-profit organization which works to meet the changing needs of Malaysia's Blind and Visually Impact Community regardless of religion, race, or background. We are students studying Diploma in Computer Science at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College and are fundraising for St. Nicholas Home. St. Nicholas’ Home is a non-profit charitable organization based in Penang since 1926. The aim of St. Nicholas’ Home is to provide the evolving needs of blind and visually impaired (BVI) community in Malaysia, regardless of their background and also region too. The St. Nicholas’ Home is a leading education and vocational training center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. So, from this, the BVIs can have their basic living skills and can find employment that can make sure they can live independently. The St. Nicholas’ Home provides a lot of the courses that the BVIs attend to build their skills, such as IT training center, pastry training center, massage training center and much more.

We are students of Tunku Abdul Rahman College and we were assigned the task to carry out a fundraise for an organisation. Initially, the assignment was the reason why we started but sooner later we realised that this in a golden opportunity for us to do something that would help those who are in need, we decided to try our absolute best to make this fundraising a complete success.
