RISING UP TO THE COVID-19 CHALLENGE IN CAMBODIA----------------------------------------------------------------------------------MESSAGE FROM OHF FOUNDERDear Donors and Friends of CCO,Over these last weeks, I have been trying to understand the impact of a global pandemic to the poorest among us. In a word, the situation is crippling. Even one day without work means no food on the table. Even one day without income means that children are torn from school to work in any way possible. Many of us cannot even fathom such a situation for our own families. We are approaching one month when the WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Imagine what these men, women and children are experiencing after a month of no work, additional mouths to feed and restrictions on contact. It is a heartbreaking scenario. Many of our neighbors in Cambodia that CCO supports are facing a dire future. CCO itself is sorely lacking in funds to operate – one of our main sources of funding came from our team school building program – which of course has ground to a halt with a travel stop. We’d like to extend an appeal to you, our donor family. Please don’t forget about those who truly need a roof over their heads or food to feed their family. We know that there is a high level of uncertainty. Whatever you can spare is a blessing to us. We would love to utilize our Cambodia staff to build houses for the people that were promised one through our team building program, School cost. We're real nonprofit organization, We're peace full teams, please don't play with us by donate not from your heart or stolen card  to make doation to our campaign. One Donate is one time only, you can support us by monthly. We wish you and your family good health and prosperous times ahead.Have a read below on the impacts of COVID-19 on the households and families in rural Cambodia.Kind Regards,Badel KhanFounder & Chairman I create campaign for support CAMBODIAN CHARITY ORGANIZATION as like to build concrete school building for poor student at village side.

Cambodia Fundraisers To Support Of COVID-19 Relief EffortsOn 30 January 2020, the World Health Organization declared the novel coronavirus outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern and on 11 March 2020, it was declared a pandemic. When the outbreak escalated in China, Cambodian Charity Organisation was on ground to distribute Personal Protective Equipment (including masks, hand sanitizers, soaps and other personal hygiene items) to children, families and health workers. Efforts are still ongoing. Teams on ground have also been promoting prevention behaviours, offering essential health advice and psychosocial support. An executive order signed by Prime Minister Hun Sen said the lockdown of all district and provincial borders within the Kingdom from midnight on Thursday to midnight on April 16Amidst social distancing, financial uncertainty and economic downturn, many charities, fundraising efforts and NGOs have been hit hard this year.As the threat of COVID-19 blanket our country and causes disruptions to our daily lives, those already living in poverty and at risk of things like malnutrition will be pushed into deeper vulnerability. Many of those are also daily wage earners who have lost their livelihoods in this challenging time. Even after the pandemic ends, it will take time for them to bounce back as the pandemic would likely have reordered society and negatively impacted the economy.Funds will go towards the following areas:1 - Promoting preventive measures and distributing hygiene products to stop or slow the spread of COVID-192 - Supporting children and families made vulnerable by COVID-19 through food supplies and other relief assistanceNow more than ever, we must all stand together in solidarity to protect the most vulnerable in Cambodia before more lives are lost. Every little bit counts. On behalf of the beneficiaries, thank you for lending a helping hand during this difficult season.
