I never really liked running. I thought it was boring and repetitive. But, a year ago, I saw the Prague Marathon and I was amazed by the strength, endurance, and tenacity of the finishers. Right there and then, I said to myself that I should run at least one marathon. Last October, I completed my very first half marathon - it was a big accomplishment for me. Now, I signed up for OSIM Sundown Full Marathon and I am loving my training - alas, I fell in love with running! I would like to make this first attempt at a full marathon more special by raising funds for a cause. I am a teacher by vocation and I love kids. I would like to dedicate this run to  children in calamity areas and poor communities who direly need to secure access to proper nutrition, protection, and, more importantly, education. I chose to run for Save The Children, a non-profit organization that is devoted to helping children in need across the globe. I would like to encourage you to support me in this small fundraising project. Any contribution, big or small, can make a difference! Muchas gracias!

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, the activity riding for charity, is what I always want to do, needless to say that I will have a chance to do this in a different country. There are three reasons why I want to join this activity. First, running and riding bike are my favorite sports in my life. Recently, I saw more and more people dedicating themselves in guiding people who are visually impaired, which was so significant and meaningful. Second, riding bike in different countries can broaden my horizon, which is helpful for my work. Third, through doing public welfare I can not only increase my value but also have a different and fresh feeling. To support the worthwhile activity, I will ask my friends and relatives cheering for me. Meanwhile, I will make my utmost effort in raising money for children. I am really looking forward to joining this worthwhile activity.

I'm Sara. I'm turning 25 this 16 January. My only wish this year is for a better, safer world we can call home. We've done so much wrong, let's make it right. This birthday month, I ask that you do not give me gifts. I have plenty. Instead, channel the money you might have otherwise used to buy gifts and donate it here for children of the world.Thank you. Peace be upon you.
