An Introduction to Taylor’s University C.S.I Volunteers;Taylor’s University Community Service Initiatives (C.S.I) Volunteers is an official student body organization in Taylor’s University established in the year of 2012. It is led by student volunteers under the guidance of teacher advisor, Mr Albert Ling.C.S.I Volunteers is a team of enthusiastic young people who aspire to make a difference in the world by being actively involved and initiating community-centric initiatives. We focus on answering the call of communities in need, youth engagement and in providing opportunities for university students to inculcate a sense of volunteerism and social responsibilities through various activities and events organized. Our vision is to instill civic-mindedness within the Taylor’s community while being fueled by our values: Willingness, Empathy, Commitment, Accountability, Righteousness, and Enthusiasm (W E C A R E).STOP HUNGER NOW 2016 @ TAYLOR'S UNIVERSITY, SUBANG JAYA, MALAYSIA‘Stop Hunger Now’ is an NGO based in Raleigh, North Carolina, driven by the vision of a world without hunger. They collaborate with various interest groups, corporations, students, and engage with volunteers worldwide in hosting meal-packaging events whereby nutrient-rich meals are packed for the undernourished globally. Taylor’s University Community Service Initiatives (C.S.I) Volunteers has organized the meal-packaging event twice during World Food Day, in 2012 and 2013 respectively – with the mission to provide meals to the most vulnerable people and communities struggling from famine. In 2016, CSI Volunteers aspires to organize the meaningful event once again and to make it an annual one – in hopes of creating greater and more sustainable impact.

We started this page to help the thousands of victims in the Philippines suffering from Typhoon Haiyan. Stop Hunger Now Asia is acting quickly to provide life-saving food and aid to the families affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Our commitment is to provide assistance as long as it is needed in the region. Most likely the largest storm to ever hit land, Haiyan killed thousands, displaced nearly half a million, and has adversely affected nearly 4 million people. Fear of a shortage of food and clean water has sparked looting at local stores, and one victim says that food aid can't come quickly enough. Thank you for visiting our page! Acer Malaysia would like to contribute to the society and help those in need together with Stop Hunger Now organization. Stop Hunger Now meal packing program is recognized as a viable solution to combat hunger among the world's most impoverished. To start off, Acer will donate a minimum of RM10,000.00 worth of packed meals and we are determined to raise RM50,000.00 worth of packed meals before the final packing event, which will happen on 21st September 2013! Not only do we welcome donations of at least RM10, Acer will also top up RM5 donation for every unit of Acer product sold at the following roadshows and fairs: 23-25 Aug 2013: PC EXPO, Pulau Pinang PIKOM PC Fair II , Johor Bahru PIKOM PC Fair II, Kuala Lumpur 27 - 29 Aug 2013: Astro Building, TPM 30 Aug - 1 Sept 2013: MITF, Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur 6 - 8 Sept: PIKOM PC Fair, Melaka 14 - 16 Sept: Acer Roadshow @ Jusco Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru The packed meals will be donated to the homeless after 21st September 2013, stay tuned for updates on total donation collected to date, final location for meal packing event and charity homes that will benefit from this program.
