Gavin, clearly experiencing a mid-life crisis, has jumped from two wheel to a sinking ship. Please help them both raise money to make them feel the sweat, ignominy, multiple muscle cramps and probable tears are worthwhile.

CrossFit Lah and CrossFit Alice Smith are hosting an OARSOME event in support of 'Oars for a Cause' on 16th January, a rowathon to raise money for St Mary’s Agape Mission school. This is a school for refugees here in KL, which educates children who are unable to legally receive an education here in Malaysia. Due to the pandemic, the school currently only has enough funds to remain open until March, beyond that they won’t be able to cover the costs of running the school. Our goal is to raise a minimum of 12 extra weeks of funding for them. With your help, we can help keep the school open!The aim of this event is to be a fun, community day in support of a good cause! The CrossFit Lah and CrossFit Alice Smith Communities have joined forces to raise funds for St Mary’s Agape Mission School. A school for refugees here in Kuala Lumpur, which educates children who are unable to legally receive an education here in Malaysia.Due to the pandemic, the school currently only has enough funds to remain open until March, beyond that they won’t be able to cover the costs of running the school.Our initial goal was to raise a minimum of 12 extra weeks of funding for them (20,000rm or $5,000). With the incredible help of our friends, family and greater worldwide community we have been able to raise 35,000rm ($8,000) in just 17 days.Please consider helping this community in need. Every child deserves an education. Any amount helps. It feels good to do some good in 2021!

We've done quite a number of volunteering in the past. The one that was closest to our hearts was in Nepal where we did a two-week volunteering trip to an orphanage. Living with them, playing, teaching, cooking and bathing them were the best memories. We hope to continue this in future.
