This year, the company I work for, Tracerco, is supporting a team of 21 employees to participate in a charity challenge, walking the Great Wall of China in October. As part of this challenge, we will be fundraising a minimum of £1,650 for our own chosen charity. As a global business, we will be supporting 21 separate charities in 6 different countries, raising £35,000. The charity I have chosen to support is UNICEF PHILIPPINES, based in Manila. This charity offers support the children's lives and their needs. The reason why I have chosen this charity is because I felt strongly drawn to children's issues and their rights and I want to make a difference and touch the hearts and change the lives of the children and make the world a better place for them to live in.

Hello Everyone, my stories might be the same for most of the typical Filipinos. I wasn't raised with a silver spoon in my hands and  at a young age I know what hard work is all about. I grew up in Barangay Sta. Cruz in Makati City. At the age of 8 or 9 I learned to helped my parents, by delivering newspapers before I go to school. I want to cut my stories short since I would like to take this opportunity to help children of the Philippines. I'm Carlos Sunga, and I'm currently living and working in Amman Jordan (OFW). Recently I was lucky to earned a spot in TCS Marathon 2019 in New York City to be held on November 3. In line with this, I would like to seek help for any amount of donation to UNICEF PHILIPPINES.  The amount that will be raised can give a brighter future to the children. I'm knocking to each and everyone's heart..... Thank you and let my journey be your journey.......

Hi everyone and thank you for dropping by to simply giving fundraising page of UNICEF. Super Typhoon Ompong (International name Mangkhut) slams the Philippines today, September 15. The strongest typhoon in the year, bringing strong winds and pounding heavy rains in the Northern Island of Luzon. Some of our fellow kabayans are strongly affected by the typhoon. Some families lose their home, and others are currently staying in an evacuation center where they need food to survive. Children can also be sick through congestion and may need of some medicines to keep them healthy. Through your donations to this website, you are helping the families and the children affected by the typhoon. Your support can provide them supply of food, and non-food items such as blanket, towels, etc. and some medicines. As part of an effort to help our fellow kabayans, I am seeking for your support and love by donating through UNICEF SIMPLY GIVING. Your donations online are secured, monitored and directly sent to UNICEF - PHILIPPINES. I hope we can make a difference by donating just a small amount to our fellow countrymen. Thank you for your helping hand and may God bless you always!

One of the things we consistently try to teach our son is not to look at what other's have to see if he has more but to look to see if they have enough.Every year we try to celebrate his birthday by giving back. On his first birthday we threw a party for the orphans of St. Rita Orphanage. Instead of gifts for Kian, we asked our family and friends to donate items for the orphanage. For his second birthday we asked our family and friends to donate books which we gave to a school in Pampanga. We can't recall what we did for his third birthday. For his fourth birthday and moving forward we want to raise funds for our favorite organization, UNICEF. Kian has enough. The children that UNICEF helps out need more. We are asking for you to give Kian a gift. Give him a gift by giving.

Hey, everyone! My name is JT Valiente, a student at the Ateneo de Manila University and YouTuber. I recently launched my YouTube channel entitled 5 A Year: a channel dedicated to achieving 5 seemingly impossible goals within one year to inspire and prove to myself and the world that nothing is impossible. One of those goals is to raise at least 80,000 pesos for a charity I believed would aid in the betterment of the Filipino youth. Upon much deliberation, I decided to partner with Unicef as I believe in the organization's work and ethics. Please help me achieve my goal for the year by partnering with Unicef and I, and investing in the next generation of world changers! God bless! For more updates on my other goals, here are my social media handles:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnaUlmAFSUMFacebook: facebook.com/5ayear/ (@5ayear)Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/5ayear_/ (@5ayear_)Twitter:https://twitter.com/5ayear_ (@5ayear_)

Our family is grateful and joyful for all the blessings we've been given. In celebration of Maya's birthday, we hope to share to other children in need through our family project. We request that you join us by donating to UNICEF through this channel. Your generosity will be a wonderful story we can share with Maya as she grows up. Lastly, we request your prayers for Maya, that she may grow up to be healthy, happy, and kind (if you share our Faith, please offer a Hail Mary for Maya and in honor of Mama Mary on her birthday).

Since there are increasing number of children with disabilities who face adversities and challenging situations, I want to help those plight of children with disabilities by helping to raise the P40 million fund to build four Centers for Children with disabilities in major cities in the Philippines that provides complete services such as diagnosis, assistive devices, counseling and therapy. For some people, playing basketball is just simply a fun way to get a body exercise. But according to United Nations Sports for Development and Peace, it's not mainly for physical exercise but also to help the communities promote leadership skills, sportsmanship, social inclusion, awareness of disease prevention and healing for people with physical challenges. Through Sports tournament, I will be able to encourage the youth to promote health and exercise, develop leadership skills, team work and sportsmanship with their initiative to change the lives of those Children with disabilities and give them hope in their personal challenges in life.

The gift of love from family and friends is more than we could ask for on our special day. We have been blessed with enough so we opted not to have a gift registry. Your presence surely is a gift to us.

Extending this love to others we think is another way we thought we can make our wedding day more special. We have put up a fundraiser for the little kids at Unicef Philippines. Kindly see the details for more information.

We would very much appreciate it if we could help brighten up their day.

Thank you and much love,
Hanna & LJ

One of the most important human right is the right to education. It shapes our society and transforms the future. This cause is aimed at protecting and enforcing this right for the children of the Philippines. The inherent problem lies in poverty stricken areas, in which parents force their children to stay home and work so that they may be able to put food on the table. This tragic occurrence can be abolished through your help. We plan to combat this abject issue through a fundraiser, fuelled by the sales of our charity bracelets and stationary such as notebooks and pencils. All of the money raised from the sales will be used towards providing education for the impoverished children. In addition to the conventional scholarships provided, we will also pursue a revolutionary novel approach in an attempt to foster a ubiquitous and hospitable environment for education. We will be launching an incentive based reward programs in our partnered schools so that the students would be rewarded for things like perfect attendance and stellar academic achievements with necessities such as bags of rice or canned goods. This will serve as incentive for not only the students but also the parents and incentivise them to pursue education. The parents will take more interest in their children's education and support it. We are hoping to see this spread through the word of mouth and encourage students in different schools to pursue education with will.
