Hello friend, thank you for being here :)Recently the news on the Russian-Ukraine war has been weighing very heavily on my heart. I cannot imagine what it's like to be forced out of my home, to be separated from my loved ones, and face the fear of losing my own life or that of my family every waking moment. Yet, that is what is happening to so many other people in Ukraine right now, as if the existence of the pandemic wasn't tragic enough.I know I cannot do much for the people there, but I thought that there must be something I can do, no matter how small. And perhaps, you feel the same too. We are a group of students and teachers from Raffles Institution who will run 10km in the Sundown Marathon 2015, Singapore's largest night running festival, held on 4th July this year. As most of us are untrained and rather, sadly, unfit and sedentary, participating in a 10km run is a huge challenge. We have been making weekly runs to MacRitchie Reservoir to make sure we can give our best shot in July. With your support, we hope to put our hard work and perseverance to a good cause and do something for the Nepalese people.
