Fundraising for Vadamaiai Kandasamy

Dear Friends,It is with great sadness that I must inform that, after weeks of treatment, our dear friend Vadamalai passed away on Friday 24th of September 2021. Although he may be gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts. Our thoughts remain with his family, and that is why, this fundraiser will remain open so we can assist the family during this difficult times. As you may know, our dear friend Vada experienced Vertigo-like symptoms in early june. Medication from a GP for Vertigo didn't help, and once his symptoms persisted, he was admitted at Gleneagles private hospital. Several tests were done and he was diagnosed with inflammation in the brain. After a short treatment, he was later sent home.Unfortunately, days later, his condition became critical. Due to the pandemic, there were no beds available in government hospitals and the family had to make the difficult (and costly) decision of getting him admitted in private hospitals. He is now being treated with a severe lung infection, inflammation in the brain and partial paralysis. It took days for our friend to be stabilized so he could be transferred to a government hospital, incurring in even more expenses.  Unfortunately, after he was transferred Universiti Malaya Hospital, his health continued to deteriorate until his final passing on Friday the 24th of September. The family incurred in great expenses to help their loved one, hence we request the public for help in this difficult time of need. We would be grateful if you could please open your hearts and wallets for our the family of our colleague and friend, Vada.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
