URGENT APPEAL FOR LEO Owner is very much in distress and almost in the verge or depression after all the harsh words that had been hurled at her. It's really heartbreaking for us to see the owner so helpless and trying so hard to safe Leo. We can see that they love Leo so much and wants what's best for him. Leo were 1st being see in Mount Pleasant Mandai on the 24.05.2022. He was then being scheduled to be transfer to VES yesterday on the 27.05.2022. Things didn't go out too well for the owner and the vet. Vet had suggested to the owner to put Leo down as they couldn't afford for his medical treatments. We received a call from Leo's devastated owner yesterday while they were still in the consultation room with the vet. She broke down into tears on the phone. Few minutes later, owner told us that the vet "refused" to let them take Leo. While this is happening, we are rushing to get another vet for Leo and had already arranged with another vet. We had called Beecroft, Dr. McGuire will be flying off yesterday. Dr. Hsu is also not available. Landon couldn't give us any confirmation. So there is left with Advance with Dr. Nick. Owner had called us and the phone had been put on a speaker so we can talk to the vet. Vet denied that he had just said to the owner that they refused to allow Leo's discharge as he "thought" that owner is gonna bring him home even though he had been told that Leo had already have an appointment with other vet (please referred to attached of the summary from the vet stating it). Leo had multiplies injuries which includes his jaws, hips and elbow. A whole body CT-Scan had been scheduled for Leo on Monday 30.05.22 with Dr. Claire. Payment of $3K are required before they can proceed with the CT-Scan. As discussed with the vet last night, the plan is to do CT-Scan before any surgeries can be done for his jaws, hips and elbow. A feeding tube also had been placed for him last night as Leo is unable to eat or drink due to his dislocated jaws. We are humbly seeking for funds for Leo's medical treatments. Leo deserves a second chance in life and he DO NOT deserve to be euthanize just because of the bills that owner couldn't afford! Please help Leo to get his treatments. You may do your contribution via: - PayNow to 88926550 (indicate project for Leo) You may also support Leo's ex owner by buying her merchandise from her Live Sales as Leo's owner insisted to still play a part for his treatments even though he had been surrendered to us. We really need to raise $3K by Monday.... Please help if you could. Leo needs your support. And will be needing more fund for his surgery estimation $15k SAY NO TO EUTHANASIA. ALL LIVING BEINGS DESERVES TO LIVE. PLEASE HELP TO SHARE THIS AROUND. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS

A disharmonious relationship with our environment is a burden. I run with that burden in the form of a tyre. It takes effort to run with a tyre. It takes effort to look after our environment with all the distractions of modern day living but put a person in nature and watch them truely grow.....

We (Clemens and Katja, aka Team CK) have decided to get our butts in gear and attempt our first running event in Singapore's gruesomely tropical weather conditions: the Marina Run 2017!But rather than doing this just for our own pleasure (if you've ever experienced Singapore's insane humidity you will anyway question how this can be anyone's pleasure), we have decided to put ourselves to good use and run for the benefit of ACRES – a Singapore‑based animal protection organisation and registered charity that rescues wildlife and fights animal cruelty. So… on 25 February 2017 we will be running for animal lives! And there is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved… become one of our sponsors! Join us in our effort to make the world a little bit kinder and donate as much as you feel comfortable giving. Even small amounts are very much appreciated! Your generosity will help our fluffy friends push us to run as fast as we can during the race :-) THANKS! If you would like to know more about ACRES, please visit their website www.ACRES.org.sg.

Hi Guys, I am Guo Kuan and i am 18 this year. I started long distance running in 2013 where i did my first competitive long distance run  of 10km (Race Against Cancer) at the age of 15. I was never in any track and field CCA and coupled with the lack of knowledge in long distance running, that race was very tough for me. I still remember the thought i had when i first saw the 7km mark: When is this ever going to end? Followed by that was the longest 3km i have ever felt for any race. Fortunately, i pressed on and managed to achieve my goal of a Sub 1hr timing. I was never a fan of running at the start, however as i started running more, i felt that long distance running is a way to challenge and prove myself. Thus i encourage everyone to give it a shot and i am sure u will soon enjoy it. Fast forward 3 years later, I have done a few more running event such as the Pocari Sweat Run, 2XU compression Half Marathon... each time hoping a attain a new Personal Best. This year, I decided that it was time to challenge myself even further by running my first Full Marathon at the Sundown Marathon 2017. I came across the Sundown with Love advertisement and decided to help raise fund for ACRES as i have been an animal lover since young and animals are also my current field of study. They have also aided me in the rescue of a sick bird that i came across despite them having to drive all the way from the west to east. Please do support me in my attempt to raise funds for Acres and also in my running journey!!! :)
