Greetings, we are students from Universiti Putra Malaysia under our volunteerism curriculum. We are going to organize a Kidney Awareness event. During this event, there will be many activities carried such as talks and games to help spread awareness to other people about the importance of keeping our kidneys healthy. In conjunction with this event, we will be collecting donations for the National Kidney Foundation, NKF. Our target is RM 5000. Therefore, we would be grateful if all of you could help us to reach this target and make this event a success. We would also like to invite those interested to join our talks which will be held on the month of June. Further information will be updated soon. Thank you for your cooperation.

I would like to do something meaningful to someone who are really need our helps. My mother was diagnosed kidney failure and cancer 3 years ago. She was suffering all the painful during the treatment. We are so sad to see her getting weaker during the treatment but she is a brave and strong women. She finished her radiotherapy and keep on her dialysis 3 times a week. She leave us half years later. She always in my mind especially on my birthday. There will be no me without her. For my birthday on this year, I don't need any present and celebration, all I need is your generous donation to somebody who really need our support. I would like to urge my fellow friends to support this fundraising event. As a gift of love to a stranger who really need help when we are still affort. I just need 1, 000 of you who donate RM10 to reach the goal. Love you all and God bless you all my family and friends.

We will be taking part in the Paris Marathon on 6th April 2014 and aiming to raise money for National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia. We are: Dr Rafidah Abdullah Dr Imelda Balchin Dr Mohd Yani Bahari The three of us would like to promote healthy lifestyle for disease prevention in Malaysia. Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is common, almost 1 in 8 of the general population. The main cause of End Stage Kidney Disease is Diabetes Mellitus (58%) in Malaysia. We have many patients who remain on dialysis for a long time with complications; since our transplant donation rate is very poor. More than 18,000 patients are on kidney transplant wait list. I'll be undertaking a personal challenge for the next three months. I'm not allowed to have instant foods such as instant noodles, soups (Campbells and gang) and potato chips. Also no junk food. I'm raising funds for the National Kidney Foundation because I support them offering dialysis to those who need it but can't afford it. Take care of your kidneys before they stop caring for you. ;)
