We all play hockey together for a social team in Hong Kong called the Dinos (short for Dinosaurs in reference to the team's age bracket which we will remain silent on). In a moment of weakness earlier this year, we thought it would be fun(?) to take part in the next Spartan Race which is in early November. Given we will be crawling through mud and tackling many other army-training style obstacles along the 6km race course we thought 'Dirty Dinos' was an apt name for the team - this also happens to be the name of a cocktail we specially created for our hockey team!It's going to be a huge challenge to get ourselves race-fit but we will no doubt have a lot of laughs along the way. However, more importantly we wanted to make it all worthwhile by raising funds for a local charity. We have selected Angels for Orphans, a small group that does wonderful work supporting under-privileged children in Hong Kong, Bali and Cambodia.

A group of us 'oldies' from the Dinos hockey team are having a go at the Spartan race in Hong Kong in Nov. We are fundraising for a special cause, Angels for Orphans. We will be crawling through mud and trying to complete 20+ obstacles. Please help by donating a lump sum or per obstacle I complete, every dollar/penny counts. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
