Team Singapore athletes will be racing with youths from SportCares at the Cold Storage Singapore International Triathlon on 28 Sep to raise funds for the SportCares Foundation. Mark Chay (Swimming), Lee Wung Yew (Shooting), Lo Man Yi (Sailing), Chen Jing Hean (Triathlon), Desmond Koh (Swimming), Koh Seng Leong (Sailing), Roy Tay (Sailing), Chung Peiming (Sailing), and Xu Yuan Zhen (Sailing) will be teaming up with 18 youths to participate in the mini triathlon relay (200m Swim, 10km Bike, 2km Run). Each athlete will team up with two youths to participate in a leg of the race (swim / bike / run). Through SimplyGiving.com you can make safe and secure donations to support us. World Aids Support Organization best Known as WAASO serves as a vehicle for change through empowering, equipping, sensitizing as well as mobilizing communities, families, young persons and children about the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS and prevention WAASO strives to achieve social-welfare change for the people infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. The organisation offers programmes in education and training, home-based-care, programmes for orphans and vulnerable children, support groups and income generating projects, as well as person to person support. We need assistance with funding for the orphans and vulnerable children, education and training and support group departments. We also need donations of clothes and food for our orphans, as well as gardening tools for our garden.
