Thank you for visiting my fund raising page! Having seen some of my colleagues passed on and some fought bravely against Cancer, I truly understand the pain in them. For those who fought bravely, my salute to them. For some of my love ones who passed on, I will never forget. I would like to do my part for my home ground to help Singapore Cancer Society gain funds so that the needy ones can also receive early treatments. I have been running and supporting Race Against Cancer since 2011 and I pledged to run at this special event every yearly. So, I hope my friends can stretch out their helping hands and do their part :) Why? So let me share with you :- Little Darren was only 6 when he was discovered with Cancer. He can't go even proceed to do his Primary 1 when he turned 7. I didn't know that Little Darren's processes, tests and treatments cost his father the entire year of his salary until we spoke. Although, we are mutual colleagues, my heart sank. My heart aches and I foresee that the needy and unfortunately ones could not afford to seek treatment. What I can provide right now, is only a strong moral support to the Kang family. In the honour and the name of Little Darren, I will be motivated to do better, making myself available for most charity runs, nominating him as a "Change Hero", taking his name to a greater heights so that he can recover fast enough to do a complete run with me.
