Formed 13 years ago for the Phuket 7's, KL Misfits now serves as the Tour version of the weekend teams in the local leagues. We never miss a chance to work on our tans and our beer bellies. We are honoured to be invited for Bigger Than King Kong as everyone of us had a connection to Ramanan 💚

For a couple of years now every Saturday morning a group Dads wake up blurry eyed and bring our kids to practice with the Little League chaps in UM. We then started having a kick about as our kids had their training. We realized that just as much as we enjoyed watching our kids have a kick about, we enjoyed playing together as well. So the Little League Soccer Dads was formed and are now proud to be invited to the Bigger Than King Kong 2019 tournament. Whilst we are a newly formed side, we hope to make our kids proud with our performance.

As the name suggests, we are a band of merry (and married) men that play football merata-rata. Formed nearly 5 years ago, members consist of VI Old Boys, Taman Tun Alumnus and other friends again from merata-rata!! We primarily look forward to our annual trip to Phuket 7s and play in a couple of the local 7s tournaments. In all the above, we happily become the whipping boys, all in good spirit. We are honoured this year to be invited to BTKK 2019 and salute the organisers for the wonderful cause.

Tonjol FC are a group of friends who come together weekly for the last 15 years to enjoy playing the game and each other’s company. Very few dare to attempt the Tonjol shot as its intense force is more often wild than accurate. But only Ramanan, in whose name the Bigger Than King Kong tournament is organised, seems to have perfected this shot. When he attempts it, move out coz its gonna hurt if u r in the way!! Inspired by Ramanan Durairaj who lost his courageous battle to cancer in 2018, Bigger Than King Kong brings together families and friends in support of many others that continue to bravely fight, every day.Ramanan was an active and passionate social footballer who valued sportsmanship, teamwork, loyalty, compassion, camaraderie and above all, family. Throughout his life, his passion, optimism and strength made an unmistakable mark on everyone he met. In the spirit of what Ramanan cherished most, this initiative also celebrates the beauty of life, in memory of a man who loved, experienced and lived it to the fullest.Tonjol FC is looking to make him proud by using his favourite shooting skill to win this year's Bigger Than King Kong 2019 trophy.

For nearly 15 years the Sunday Boyz have been playing together to sweat out the shenanigans from the night before. The weekly kick-about at the futsal courts of PJ have brought us closer together and just maybe, improved our skills too. This year we will rock up to the Bigger Than King Kong tournament, alcohol infused and definitely looking for a better finish than 2018.1
