Fundraising for:
Runninghour

Runninghour began its journey in 2009, forming into a Cooperative in 2014.  Initially providing running partners for Intellectually Challenged runners, it has expanded to include Visually and Physically Challenged runners.  Total membership now exceeds 300, including more than 150 members with special needs. Runninghour’s mission is to integrate people with special needs into mainstream life through participation in mainstream sports and other activities. By providing well trained guides to lead and support them, Runninghour allows people of all abilities to improve self belief and mental and physical capability to prepare them for life in the wider world.  By raising awareness and focusing on the abilities of people with special needs, Runninghour promotes integration and inclusion. Runninghour members participate in many mainstream sporting events, including running, cycling and even triathlon! Runninghour members also represented Singapore at the ASEAN Para Games 2015 in sports such as Goalball, Football and Chess. Runninghour will be hosting its own running event on 10th July 2016 which includes a blindfold run as part of its non-competitive 5k and 10k runs and a newly added category which will be the non-stop dance fitness, hoping to attract 5,000 participants, including over 500 with special needs. Join us for a meaningful race! We thank you from the bottom of our heart! We run to bond. We run so others can!
